Physiotherapy uses the latest research in order to provide the client with the most up to date evidence-based treatments available.
Q. How effective is physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is proven to be highly effective in the treatment of a variety of conditions however client compliance plays a major part in the management/recovery process. Clients who engage with their therapist and comply with the advice that they have been given will do much better than those who do not.
Q. Is physiotherapy massage?
No, physiotherapy is much more than massage, although specific massage techniques may be used if they are regarded as an appropriate treatment to aid your recovery.
Q.What types of problem can physiotherapy help?
Physiotherapy is a treatment used to help with the pain relief, healing, and rehabilitation of most medical and surgical conditions. Your therapist will discuss the best treatment options available to you and can refer you to another medical professional where appropriate.
Q.Why see a physiotherapist?

Q.What can I expect to happen in the initial assessment?
During your initial assessment your therapist will use a combination of information sources in order to decide on the best course of treatment and put in place a self-management strategy. This will include asking about your previous medical history, your current condition & pain levels, the mechanism of injury, any previous treatment, current medication and if you had any input from other health professionals. You will also be asked about any tests have had that may be relevant such as bloods, MRI, CT, X-ray etc. If you have any reports it is advisable to bring them with you to your appointment.
Q.How do I know what type of physiotherapy will help?
Your therapist will educate you on your current condition and advise you of the recommended treatment modalities available to you. Together with your therapist you will decide on your best course of treatment and discuss any treatment goals you may have. Meet The Team
Q.Can I pay for my treatments by Credit/Debit Card?
Yes, clients can pay by Paypal, debit or credit card, cash or bank transfer.
Q.What should I wear to my appointment?
Please wear appropriate clothing depending on what area of the body may need to be examined & treated. For instance, if you are suffering from knee pain then your therapist will need to be able to see and examine the area at skin level therefore tight-fitting leggings or jeans will not allow this. Loose fitting comfortable clothing is best but if in doubt please ask your therapist prior to attending your appointment. Where possible please come dressed for your appointment otherwise you reduce the amount of face to face time you have with your therapist.
